About the Designer
The Beautiful Company now has a new range of everyday distinctive rings for men based on Zirconium. The black colour of Zirconium is obtained through a 5 hour heat treatment process inexcess of 500 degrees Celsius, nothing is added to the ring. This process the Zirconium is transformed into a ceramic coating called Zirconia and is extremely resistant, though not impervious, to knocks. Ziconium was first identified in1789 by Martin Klaproth and is found inabundance in S type stars. It has been identified in the sun and meteorites and rock samples from the lunar missions. Made into a ring this material is very distinctive in appearance and is great for every day wearing.
