Platinum Rings
If you are looking for something a little more exclusive than the ordinary then why not make it a platinum one. This metal is rarer harder and more precious than gold, it doesn't need any kind of rhodium plating like white gold does and its just that little bit more exclusive. To cater for all your needs we have extensive ranges of platinum rings for the engagement before you get to the point of getting married.
What you have to remember about Platinum is that it is hard to alter once the item is made ,so you should go to every effort to ensure you get your finger size right before ordering. We try to help you in this by always sending you a finger sizer when you order and by not fulfilling the order until the finger size is confirmed. If you should get something that is the wrong size from us then we can either resize it at a small cost or swap it completely so remember to take advantage of our 30 day moneyback guarantee which is available on all our Platinum bands.
Platinum The Facts
Platinum used in jewellery is hallmarked 950 which means that the metal used in your platinum rings is 95% platinum and 5% some other alloy for example Ruthenium.
This metal is corrosion-resistant, is difficult to tarnish, and in fact its one of the hardest materials to be used in jewellery and should you need them resizing a lazer will be needed to bond the new ends together. In addition it has excellent high-temperature characteristics, and stable electrical properties. Platinum does not oxidise in the air at any temparature. These characteristics make this metal ideal for jewellery which is generally worn constantly.
Platinum is more precious than gold. The price changes along with its availability, but it normally costs slightly less than twice the price of gold, which explains the difference in prices betweenthe two metals.
At The Beautiful Company Platinum Rings are an area we are proud to specialise in by providing the best in range and if it wasn't platinum we would say we were cheap too.
